Over the years Goddess Kali, & Isis, have constantly drawn my attention and my focus, frequently showing up in multiple ways. My intrigue heightened after many confirmations that I took her form in past lifetimes and it explains so much. I am calm and serene until someone tries to play me, then her power and protective nature surfaces, quashing any issues in my path. It took so long to fully embrace her magnificence, as I detest violence and Kali is often depicted with skulls and swords, but she is not the goddess of actual death, she is the goddess of the spiritual and symbolic death of the ego. Parking/dissolving your ego, in the old form is one of the greatest gifts you can bestow upon yourself. It was the cause of our self-doubt, lack of trust and belief in our self-worthiness but it is time to change. Her presence is not about death but transformation. "With every step of her dance, it destroys the moment before and holds the future in darkness, coaxing us to be reborn into the eternal NOW." Kali is the 1st Dus Mahavidya, the 10 Wisdom Goddesses, 'Dus' means ten, Maha = great, Vidya = wisdom/knowledge. One perspective is that the 10 goddesses are different forms of the Divine Maa Kali, with each form having their own background and story. They are the tantric forms of Shakti, the epitome paradigm of the entire universe. The Dus Mahavidya's are manifestations of the Divine Mother to bring shifts in energy and spiritual awakening, they are our guides for this journey, the representatives of the whole of creation. The ten Goddess are: Kali, Tara, Tripura Sundari, Bhuvaneshvari, Bhairavi, Chhinnamasta, Dhumavati, Bagalamukhi, Matangi and Kamal. Goddess Kali resides in the North and when I sense her energies I am consumed with love and awe in her presence. Her shadow of aggression, when you work with her, unfolds to force the recognition of what you need to face and clear from your thoughts, feelings and actions to evolve further. Her light of non violence is her foundation, the forceful side is literally to slay the demons - for us in this lifetime, anyone unpure of love, negativity, hurtful or destructive, to themselves or others. Kali is the goddess of empowerment, death (destruction of evil) and time, she is the ruling deity in Tantric energies. Her ferocity is a reminder to not fear pain, we need the dark energies to appreciate, and magnify, our surrender to the light energies of love, joy and laughter. I have said it many times, healing hurts BUT it does not last forever, yes stuff will always surface to be cleared, but as your strength, grounding and power become embodied in your daily practices then your are protected, secure and abundant. Some of the Kali Mantra's - to work with her, chant each one 108 times Om Krim Kalikayai Namah - Transform to pure consciousness. This mantra has the power to fulfil and bless us with goodwill, health and wealth in life. Krim (pronounced Kreem) represents the power beyond time and death, the dispeller of worries. Protection from the illusion and evil forces from the divine. Om Sri Maha Kalikayai Namaha - I bow my head & salute the Divine Goddess Mother, Kali. I call in my power, strength + knowledge. Om Jayanti Mangala Kali Bhadrakali Kapalini - for increasing courage, energy + potential, commanding the ability to solve problems rapidly and easily. OM KREEM KALI, a mantra for aiding the transformation of the mind, to subtle light, pure consciousness. Kreem is the bija (seed) mantra for Kali, a sound representation of the mother, a potent, foundational energy of her. K stands for full knowledge, R means she is auspicious, E means she bestows boons, and M that she gives freedom. Each mantra has a different meaning to each of us, that can be explored/discovered through meditation, see what flows for you. There are many versions of this legend, the above is just my understanding, my beliefs, from all I see, sense and feel. Often it can depend on where you are on your journey, as to how you see things, trust yourself and your intuition always. It is a significant day whilst we are still experiencing the portal activations, the upgrading of human consciousness and many people finally saying enough is enough. You may be feeling the full surges of energy through your body as your kundalini energy awakens and enlivens your mind, body and soul as it goes on a rebirthing journey right now. The masculine energies have been the dominate force throughout the world and it is time for the trajectory to alter. The feminine energies control the throat, third eye and crown chakras, the emotional centres, with the heart being both masculine and feminine. It is therefore lovely that men are becoming more in touch with their feelings and learning that they can express emotions, such as tears, even though it goes against what they were taught growing up. We are here to live in heaven on earth and I commend all those of you who are working on themselves. Healing hurts but it is very beneficial to increase your energetic vibration and the enjoyment of each day. You always have a choice as to how you feel, how you react and how you perceive all that is being 'fed' to you by the government, media and your own inner negativity. The Winter Solstice is going to be a phenomenal event of ascension and healing for humanity (for those open to it) and I welcome the changes. Glastonbury is the Heart Chakra of Mother Earth and Australia the Solar Plexus, so as the people awaken the healing of the world will evolve further.
