The two physical areas of Ibiza imbued with her energies are the Tanit Cave, Cala San Vicente, and the powerful energy vortex of Es VedrĆ + it's closest beach Cala d'Hort.
The Tanit cave, is the largest sanctuary in the Mediterranean dedicated to her and was discovered in 1907, containing 600 complete terracotta sculptures with over 1000 heads, and fragments of others. She is shown representing a bell-shaped female figure and there are many depictions of her in structures, paintings, businesses named after her, clay, jewellery, and the creations by traditional craftsmen are sold throughout the island.
The recorded historical information of Tanit, and the oldest bust of the goddess, are on display at the Puig des Molins Ethnology Museum, Ibiza Town. This is the worldās largest and best-preserved necropolis. At one time, she had a temple in Ibiza Town, where the cathedral now stands.
I feel deeply connected to her graceful energies and one of the first items I brought, back when I arrived here in April, was the Ibiza Tarot - The Oracle of Tanit. She was calling for my attention soon after I came home to paradise. I am very grateful to currently be living on Tanit Mountain, her energies are divine, restorative and deeply healing.
