The last Fire Horse Year occurred 60 years ago in 1966. It is essential to review what transpired during that time, as it will help you understand what lies ahead.
In 1966, the Cultural Revolution began in China. This upheaval transformed institutions, families, education, and culture almost overnight. The Vietnam War escalated, triggering mass protests worldwide. Cold War tensions peaked, ideological divides hardened, and Civil Rights unrest intensified across America. Youth movements emerged, challenging authority. Longstanding norms around family, gender, and power began to break down at scale. This pattern is characteristic of Fire Horse Years.
While this may sound overwhelming, remember that breakdown often precedes breakthrough.

This year is about attuning to the magnificent energetic frequencies you carry. It is a year of the people: expressing, speaking up, and planting the trees of change. In Chinese astrology, the Fire Horse represents one of the most extreme combinations:
Horse energy embodies speed, movement, rebellion, and independence.
Fire intensifies that energy, bringing heat and confrontation.
Historically, Fire Horse Years do not bring gradual change. Instead, they are marked by sharp breaks, social unrest, and the collapse of old structures. These are turning points that cannot be undone, and we have been predicting such changes for some time now.
Astrologically, Saturn and Neptune will be conjunct in Aries three days later. The last time they aligned was in 1989, a snake-to-horse transition year marked by significant changes. The conjunction of these two planets in Aries signifies highly charged energy, heralding the beginning of something new. This global shift will impact the order of things and how we perceive our reality. It has the power to either awaken us or plunge us deeper into delusion.

The Merkis is part of this journey: erased, sealed knowledge that I am profoundly grateful to carry and share.
Think of it as a collective tower moment. What no longer serves must fall so that something authentic can be built.
Navigating Chaos: Finding Inner Balance
The Fire Horse Year forces movement, often through chaos. This is why we must improve our inner balance daily, so we remain calm amid chaos. The goal of the Innerdance Online sessions I offer is to help regulate the nervous system. The changes 2026 brings may be uncomfortable, yet they are extremely beneficial and usually permanent.
Personal care and daily energetic alignment become profound responsibilities for each of us. They are not luxuries. We must embody what we want to see, sense, and feel.
Care for yourself by rooting into your being (Merkis), staying present in your body, eating real food, and enjoying simple pleasures. Do everything with joy and love to invite expanded abundance in all forms. Rest when called to, and limit how much fear you consume or generate through your thoughts.
Choose grounding over constant stimulation. Care for each other, as the stronger communities we cultivate will soften the hard transitions.
Building Stronger Communities
This is a period of mutual aid and shared resources. Check in on each other, your neighbours, and everyone around you. Offer skills instead of opinions. Remove any form of complaining and cultivate gratitude for all we have and receive. These actions will stabilise us when institutions feel shaky.
History shows that when systems fracture, people revolt—in a positive way. The voice of the people will be heard. How we show up for ourselves and one another will shape what comes next.
Embracing New Experiences
Your comfort zone is long gone. We must push ourselves into new experiences, doing what we love with those we care for most. This is a time of acceleration. Even 'time' seems to fly, yet it slows when we ask it to. Substantial shifts are coming for us all. The fast-forward button of your life is ON. No more excuses. Let the magic in.
